Position Overview
You will develop robotic software systems using ROS 2 - perception pipelines, navigation stacks, and sensor integration. You will collect real-world datasets, integrate AI in biomedical applications, deploy lightweight models for real-time inference, and build computer vision systems that work on real data.
Key Responsibilities

Build ROS 2 nodes for perception, navigation, and manipulation

Integrate AI in biomedical sector applications and medical device workflows

Collect and process real-world data from physical robot deployments

Implement data scraping and annotation pipelines for robotics datasets

Build computer vision pipelines (YOLO, object tracking, depth estimation)

Design and optimise lightweight models for embedded inference

Run inference on real collected data and validate model performance
Required Skills & Expertise
-
3+ years of ROS 2 development (Humble or Iron)

Strong Python and C++ skills

Experience with OpenCV, PCL, or computer vision libraries

Real hardware deployment experience (not just simulation)

Familiarity with SLAM (ORB-SLAM3 or similar)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Biomedical or industrial robotics application experience

TensorRT or ONNX edge inference on robotic hardware

Gazebo simulation plugin development
